I Bring To You Shaun Flores, The Pink Lipped Brown Skinned Kid

Aspiring, journalist and presenter Shaun Flores otherwise known as the Pink Lipped Brown  Skinned Kid, is known for his charm, humour and utter penchant for knowledge. Hailing from South West London, birthing talent. His height 6ft2 188cm is a reflection of his ambition. He is not an overachiever or over-ambitious. He is becoming a master of self, Tenacious, and hungry to become the best he can be. He commands a room with the base of his voice and his reassured presence. Chest pumped and Straight talking, he will leave you with a memory. A podcaster he can be, a reporter and a journalist. His way with words is one that compels you to listen to him. Further making him an ideal voice-over artist coming from a Trinidadian background, Shaun found himself in fashion walking the catwalks , but there is no greater catwalk than that of life itself. Shaun has faced structural disadvantages and individual challenges which have only been fuel to his ever-burning fire. The End of Media Trust, The Beginning of Journalism

And now I bring to an end of a fantastic 10 weeks with media trust. I have learnt so much about myself. I have been paired with an amazing mentor. Now I know who I want to be and what I will be doing. I want to be a journalist, working in radio, podcast and reporting political commentary. I will be an expert and my journey has only just begun. I will be applying for a journalism training course and my PhD as well with the hope of going to drama school. I am in the business of exploring my character not only professionally, but also personally. Are you looking to break into one of the toughest industries on the planet? The media industry in the 21st century is oversaturated, we live in the age of information, influencers, public figures, and more. Vernaire Bass and Ryan Nile the creators of the “For the creator's podcast” titled this as a podcast that is entertaining, educational and motivational that explores the various minds behind all the creative things we love. Their masterclass was showing us how to market our podcasts. We had the honour of practising interviewing skills on a podcast platform with the fantastic Daliah Diaz, creative director, photographer and filmmaker. A journalism masterclass with Colleen Harris 20/11/2018 Today 20/11/2018, at creativity work media trust, Week 10, coming up to graduation. We were blessed with the amazing Colleen Harris. I want to do an honor upon introducing her. Her achievements are as follows. Award-winning journalist and MOBO award-winning singer: 16 years in British media - reporting for print, radio and TV. Royal Television Society winner of The Next Big Presenter award. EDF Energy award for Best Current Affairs (Alopecia film part of Inside Out East compilation entry) Frank Gillard award for Diversity (Exclusive Windrush story part of BBC Essex compilation entry) Ex Editor of Show Racism the Red Card magazine Ex reporter for New Nation newspaper. MOBO award-winning singer, Amoye (1999) Colleen a true master in her own class as you can see above.
